Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and monitor scalable data pipelines to extract and load ‘big data’ datasets
• Clean, transform, and aggregate raw data into useful formats for ML/AI, business needs
• Develop and maintain robust data architectures to support business needs
• Implement processes and systems to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available
• Collaborate with the analytics and product teams to create and improve data models for BI tools, increasing data accessibility
• Use agile software development processes to make iterative improvements
• Work with cross-functional teams to address data-related technical issues and improve data models
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, communicate, and solve data related issues
• Be an advocate for best practices and continued learning
• Help foster data-driven decision making across the organization through confidence in the output
• Other duties as assigned

Must Have

• Minimum 5 years experience in a Data Engineering or similar role
• Building data pipelines and transforming data
• Data Warehousing techniques
• Strong SQL skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), DBT (Data Build Tool), and Snowflake
• Experience with the Data Vault 2.0 and Kimball modeling technique
• Experience writing Python scripts
