We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our Product team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Overseeing the entire life cycle of the Bitfocus software product, including defining the product vision, planning its development, and ensuring its successful delivery. They will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and market research to architect features and functionality that align with the product roadmap while maintaining compliance with federal and local requirements.

The Product Manager will collaborate with diverse stakeholders to design and implement new features and reporting enhancements, ensuring that they meet market needs and maintain a consistently high level of quality. They will also support research efforts by synthesizing input from marketing, sales, and customers to inform product design and approach. Additionally, they will identify and articulate the key benefits and value of new features and enhancements to guide marketing plans and create effective marketing materials.

THIS IS A FULLY REMOTE, FULL-TIME POSITION - SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK FROM HOME.

Compensation:

We are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including skills, qualifications and professional experience, which can cause your compensation to vary. This role has an annual targeted total compensation range of $80,000 - $125,000, which includes variable compensation (bonus) eligibility.

About the Product Team:

As a Product Manager, you will:

  • Product Requirement Development: Develop clear, comprehensive product requirements that align with business logic and system impacts, while translating customer needs into processes compliant with regulations. Ensure traceability, documentation, and accounting of all stakeholder requirements throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the Clarity Human Services software, the market landscape, relevant technology trends, and the competition. Acquire and maintain expertise in these areas to inform decision-making, strategy development, and product positioning.
  • Product Strategy and Lifecycle Management: Support the implementation of the Clarity Human Services product strategy and roadmap. Manage the product throughout its entire lifecycle, from concept development to end-of-life considerations. Continuously evaluate and monitor the performance of the product and identify areas for improvement.
  • Business Case Development: Write compelling business cases for development initiatives and obtain internal approvals. Present a strong rationale and justification for proposed projects, outlining their potential value and alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor, report, and improve the performance of the product. Continuously track key metrics and indicators, identify areas for enhancement or optimization, and implement appropriate strategies to enhance the product's effectiveness.
  • Trial and Launch Planning: Plan and execute trials and minimum viable product (MVP) releases. Develop comprehensive go-live launch plans, ensuring smooth product launches and seamless transitions from development to deployment.
  • Feedback Collection and Analysis: Collate feedback from internal staff and customers, gathering insights and suggestions to inform future product iterations and enhancements. Actively seek feedback through surveys, interviews, and other appropriate methods.
  • Representation and Advocacy: Represent the voice of the customer and the product in senior-level management meetings. Articulate product strategy, goals, and requirements to key stakeholders, advocating for the product's vision and value proposition.
  • Product Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a champion for the product within the organization and to external entities including customers, partners, and industry stakeholders, promoting its unique features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Develop robust relationships with business stakeholders, fostering rapport, trust, and collaboration while establishing yourself as a respected leader, further enhancing productive partnerships and a collaborative mindset.
