As a Salesforce Developer you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying custom Salesforce applications and enhancements. You possess a strong background in Salesforce development and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions to meet our business needs.

What you'll do...

  • Design and implement custom Salesforce applications and enhancements using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, validation rules, workflows, process builder, and flows.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems and third-party applications using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
  • Develop and maintain data migration and data integration processes.
  • Ensure data integrity and security within Salesforce.
  • Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to end-users and other team members.
  • Conduct unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization of Salesforce applications.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Deploy solutions using change sets, ANT, Salesforce DX, or other deployment tools.Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

What we look for...

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  • Proven experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL, and SOSL.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration tools and techniques.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification preferred.
  • Exposure to Declarative Solutions (i.e: Flows, Process Builder, Assignment Rules).
  • Other relevant Salesforce certifications are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and security model.
  • Proficient in web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like AngularJS or React is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in working with startups is a plus.

Compensation

The base salary range for this position is CAD $110,000 - 130,000, dependent on experience. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes an annual bonus, employer-paid benefits, and long-term incentive pay. Individual compensation may vary from the target range and is determined by several factors, including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs at least annually to ensure competitive and fair pay.
