Job Description

This is an incredible opportunity to join one of the leaders in transportation and logistics and build the future of freight. We are looking for an exceptional Systems Integration Product Manager to join our team and make an immediate impact.

One of our platform’s key pillars for success is its ability to integrate with several external systems (TMS, other vendors) for bi-directional data synchronization. Our platform integrations with 50+ external systems and several others still to integrate. You will own the development of all external integrations with Trucker Tools platform and mobile app, working closely with our partnership, engineering, onboarding, sales, and operations teams and reporting to C-Suite. This role is a once-in-a-career opportunity to not only develop an integrated product, but build an enduring product organization around it. You will play a pivotal role in onboarding new customers quickly and effectively, drive our product integration process, and seek continuous improvement by understanding and building around customer needs and feedback. We’re a fast-moving tight team and are looking for someone scrappy, eager, and ready to dive in - while providing you with support, coaching, and incredible opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Improve existing integration methodologies including architecture, security, performance and documentation to make the integration process more effective and simple
  • Collect and monitor data to catch integration failures and act on them in a timely manner
  • Work with customers and integration partners to help them integrate with Trucker Tools platform effectively and comprehensively. Hand hold them during the integration process to ensure their success
  • Manage a team of integration engineers to prioritize their tasks, help remove roadblocks and monitor their progress
  • Work cross functionally with partnership, customer success, sales, onboarding and other teams to build out our solutions and bring them to market. Break down large projects into milestones, make trade-off decisions and get buy-in from cross-functional teams
  • Develop and communicate integration roadmap, requirements and constraints for initiatives and releases to senior management and various stakeholders
  • Develop documentation that can be shared with future partners and customers to articulate our methodology and clarify any questions they may have related to integrations
  • Help sales team on sales call not only to articulate existing integrations but also discuss potential new integrations that may solve the customer needs
  • Understand industry and customer trends to inform development and become a thought leader and help shape up product roadmap

Experience and Qualifications

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of systems integration related work experience
  • Strong technical experience with a proven track record in managing and defining technology solutions with demonstrated personal excellence, integrity, accountability
  • Experience with team building and team management with ability to energize the team and build effective relationships
  • Must be able to work effectively with various levels of program and company management throughout the Enterprise and able to influence technical decisions
  • Experience in working with customers and external partners
  • Must be results driven and have the ability to prioritize integration pipeline based on data
  • Must have strong foundation with distributed systems and RESTful and SOAP integration technologies
  • Must have strong experience with AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Must have solid SQL foundation
  • Experience with PHP and Python programming languages is a plus

Other Information

  • Location: Trucker Tools is a 100% remote company; Chicago or Washington DC is a plus. Travel to team offsites expected 2-4 times per year; additional travel on an as-needed basis
