Job Description

Summary:

To serve as an ambassador for the Visual Matrix brand in pursuit of providing solutions to clients and building our client base

Essential Function:

  • Communicate regularly with current and potential clients over the phone or email to discover their needs, answer questions, respond to emails, and find solutions to issues.
  • Maintain existing client accounts, acknowledge and handles taking care of their needs, and assure their satisfaction.
  • Maintain records in notes in Zoho CRM for purposes of building a pipeline and managing prospective clients and to update clients' profiles so status an what’s happening with accounts can be tracked.
  • Provide potential clients with features and benefits of using our software
  • Use sales processes to maintain your sales standards at high levels
  • Assist in providing demonstrations of our software to clients in our target market
  • Collect client, market, and competitor information during the sales process to improve success
  • Set up client demonstrations for prospective and current clients
  • Prepares and delivers targeted presentations of the company's products or services in person and/or web-based, explains product offerings, writes up deals, and closes sales.
  • Develop solid relationships with clients and potential clients

Requirements

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:

  • Previous experience in SaaS sales - preferably Hotel Technology
  • Previous hospitality experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Previous CRM experience, preferably Zoho CRM
  • Exceptional negotiation skills
  • Strong techniques in overcoming objections
  • Ability to use influence to achieve a goal or objective
  • Active Listening skills - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand, asking questions as needed, not interrupting at inappropriate times
  • Influential communication ability
  • Microsoft Office Products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc. (create, edit, save and send documents, spreadsheets, presentations, database)
  • Strong application of user experience design principles & visual design principles.

Position type and expected hours of work:T his is a full-time, salaried (exempt) level position, typically working 8 hours a day, Monday – Friday. However, our organization supports clients that operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and occasional after-hours work may be needed or required.

Remote Work Environment: Visual Matrix embraces a remote work environment and supports the ability to work remotely, provided it supports our workplace requirements. Additionally, we have occasional in-person meetings, in which attendance is required. Our work-from-home guidelines are:

  • A dedicated work area established that is preferably separated from other living areas and that provides information privacy and security. The goal is that the workspace is solely for work
  • Employees must be available to work during normal business hours and days and based on the needs and requirements of the company
  • Employees must be able to perform normal daily tasks and essential functions of the job while working from home, free from distraction or constant interruptions that are not work-related. Working from home is not designed or intended to be a replacement for appropriate dependent care. Employees must meet job expectations and business demands as if they were working in a physical office.
  • Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
  • Ability to travel to attend required in-person meetings, as needed
