As we continue to scale, we’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to help evolve our web and mobile applications within a modern AWS cloud environment.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with Product and Engineering teams to design and deliver reliable, scalable, user-focused solutions across:

• React-based web applications
• Mobile applications
• AWS cloud-native infrastructure

This is a senior, hands-on role where you’ll contribute to architecture decisions, uplift engineering standards, and help shape the future of our platform.

What you'll Do

• Design, develop, test and maintain features across front-end, mobile and back-end systems
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React
• Contribute to the development and optimisation of our mobile applications
• Contribute to cloud-native development and deployments within AWS
• Apply sound cloud architecture principles to support scalable, secure and maintainable systems
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate customer needs into practical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning and technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex application and system issues
• Write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
• Mentor engineers and contribute to strong engineering practices

What you'll bring

• 5+ years’ experience in a Software Engineer / Full Stack Engineer role
• Strong experience building modern applications with React
• Experience developing and maintaining mobile applications (React Native or similar)
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture and scalable application design
• Experience integrating front-end and mobile applications with APIs and backend services
• Solid understanding of performance optimisation and application security
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• AWS Certification (Associate level or higher), or working towards it (desirable)
• Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field (preferred)
